Our Story

Darelude is a family-owned enterprise led by Mduduzi and Yandiswa Radebe. Their partnership was forged at university through a common vision for social transformation.

Mduduzi’s lineage in traditional leadership grounds the firm in governance, while Yandiswa’s entrepreneurial heritage shapes our approach to innovation.

MEET THE FOUNDERS

The Visionaries Behind Darelude

Co-founders Mduduzi Radebe and Yandiswa Xhakaza bring together two decades of complementary experience across organisational development, social investment, and impact evaluation.

Mduduzi Radebe
MDUDUZI RADEBE, (MBA, GIBS)
Principal Consultant, Organisational Development

Mduduzi is an Organisational Development expert with over a decade of experience helping organisations structure business processes, develop talent management policies, facilitate strategy development, and design monitoring tools to track strategy implementation.

Driven by the belief that empowered people build empowered organisations, Mduduzi is deeply passionate about leadership development, a conviction that shapes both his consulting practice and his approach to working with teams and institutions. 

In addition to his professional work, Mduduzi serves as a Seasonal Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand's School of Governance and Business School, where he channels his expertise into equipping leaders with the tools they need to transform their organisations. 

Mduduzi's academic foundation is both rigorous and diverse. He holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Public and Development Management, both from the University of the Witwatersrand. He further holds a Master of Business Administration and currently a doctoral candidate in Business Leadership at the University of South Africa, a pursuit that deepens his inquiry int the intersection of leadership, people and organisational performance.

Yandiswa Xhakaza kaRadebe
YANDISWA XHAKAZA KARADEBE (MBA, GIBS)

Yandiswa is a social scientist with a deep commitment to sustainable development, known for her ability to apply business principles to complex social challenges in order to drive the financial sustainability of social programmes. 

She is a seasoned impact measurement expert. Yandiswa holds the conviction that social return on investment deserves equal standing alongside financial return on investment; a philosophy that underpins her work and advocacy in the sector.

Yandiswa's academic credentials reflect both her breadth of expertise and her commitment to continuous learning.

She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of the Witwatersrand., a Postgraduate Diploma in Public and Development Management from the same institution, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pretoria. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand, where her research interrogates the institutional logics of social investments.
